Meet Our Staff
Morgan Henderson, MSEd, MT-BC--Owner, Music Therapist, Piano Teacher
Morgan began Music Moves in 2015 when she returned to her hometown of Albia, IA. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2011 and Purdue University in 2017. What started as a small, two contract business grew to covering Monroe County and several surrounding counties. Morgan enjoys working with older adults, children, and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. She currently teaches a full studio of piano students. She resides in Albia with her husband, three children, and two dogs.

Alexis Reyman--Piano Teacher
Alexis joined the Music Moves team in August of 2020. She has been playing piano for over 10 years, and studied under Margaret Hunt of Ottumwa. She also plays the violin and flute. She was involved in music all through her school years and is continuing during college. She’s had experience teaching beginner piano students, and is excited to teach here at Music Moves!

Bailey Bodeker, MT-BC--Staff Music Therapist, Voice/Guitar/Ukulele Teacher
Bailey joined the Music Moves team in 2021. She is from Williamsburg, IA. She attended the University of Iowa and completed her internship at Meaningful Day Services in Indianapolis. She resides in Albia with her two cats. She enjoys working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and older adults. Bailey began teaching voice lessons in January 2021. She studied voice under Dr. Katherine Eberle at the University of Iowa while obtaining her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy. She was also the music director of SAI, a music sorority, directing the choir and creating arrangements.

JD Henderson--Guitar/Bass Teacher
JD began teaching guitar in January of 2023. He taught himself to play guitar when he was 14. He plays acoustic guitar and bass. JD has formerly played in the contemporary band at Trinity Church, the band Justified, as well as in the Restoration Days Follies. He works full time as a drafter with Delta Structural Steel Services and is a youth leader at Trinity Church.

Abbey Henderson--Music with YOU! Teacher
Abbey joined the Music Moves team in 2022. She currently leads the Music with YOU! groups, a music making class for littles and their caregivers. She works full time as a Para-educator in the Albia Schools.
